Basically undercovers were doing a shift in WA, and a vehicle drives past at an intersection pretty fast.

They think he's doing a runner because his tail lights are off. They go after him and catch up to him at a red light.

He gets pulled over and they tell him to explain....

He tells his story, carrying on etc, fuse blown so no tail lights or dash lights, didn't know how fast he was going. Cops had no radar on him so no conviction.

He had a couple o drinks before but passed breatho.

In the end he gets a notice to fix his vehicle $200 fine and they escort him home.

I was surprised the law didn't have a radar; so was the guy!!. he was releived when the cops said they didn't know what speed he was doing. then the cops looked disappointed when he only blew .037 on the drunk-o-meter. pretty heavy fine for a fuse.

yeah mate some rediculous fines/sentences the courts have.. you can serve longer times for lesser charges than murder!!! how stupid.. and if the cops ever ask.. just dont tell.. cause if they ask thenusually its cause they dont know.. you admit to a crime then they got you

it wasnt a fine for the fuse, it was a yellow sticker/work order to get the whole car checked.

serves him right for driving a unroadworthy car

lol when he was begging the cop not to give him a sticker & he said come around to my house & i will show you ive fixed it.

then when it was over he was saying i was just on my way to buy a fuse lol

yep, I know it was for the inspection but according to the guy, the problem was caused because of a blown fuse.
