Hey guys just installed some whiteline extra heavy duty sway bars to my GTT and just wanted to say they are awesome. Before the install only had tanabe coilovers, which did a decent job in corners but used to get a lot over oversteer, but now the car is a lot flatter and handles like a dream through the tight twisties :(

For anyone thinking of getting some sway bars i'd definetly say "do it!!", by far the best handling mod i've ever done. Cheers

i have been thinking about getting some, but after spending $500 on adjustable bushes (castor/camber) and not noticing f**k all difference i'm a little apprehensive.

im having trouble keeping the back end stable through long corners and im hoping sway bars will fix this.

What mods would be suggested to a R32 GTR's suspension?

ATM I have tein HA coil overs and I just replaced most of the front bush's with nolethane items.

I also run 255 x 40 x 17's on 9inch rims.

any advantage in replacing the standard sway bars with after market items?

I also have front and rear struts.

cheers

rob

I just want it for street use and I guess tidy up the handling abit, make it more responsive ( around corners , speed of steering etc without killing tyres. I'm good with engines but no exp with suspension.

Email the question to whiteline dude along with your current suspension specs eg. toe in, toe out, camber, caster, etc. and they sould be able to give an answer as to your problem. Thats what i did and they recommended sway bars for my oversteer problem.

i also put a whiteline non-adjustable extra heavy duty front sway bar in my R33 series2..

was the best money ive spent on suspension so far..

pretty much dont have any understeer anymore, only coz need new front tyres..lol

cant wait to do my rear ;)

ok got my whiteline adjustables and the rear one on first, absolutely loving it!!!

Got around to doing the front and im either retarded or i got the wrong bar because it wont reach to the original links!

I put it up against the old one and its about 4 cm shorter in length... i hope its normal cause i couldnt figure it out

After reading all this good feedback on sway bars I'm thinking this will definitely have to be my next mod.

I have an R32 4dr. What are some of the better brands and what is around a reasonable price to pay for some (front and rear).

I run TEIN Coilovers already.

Thanks alot.

-Jimmy.

Went back to fulcrum and they had given me the wrong front one, so swapped it over all good.

Jimmy - Better brands are much of a muchness, they all do a pretty good job. If you want adjustable ones then i think whiteline are the only people who do that.

Expect to pay around 500
