ok i have just a quick question. keep in mind my stagea is a RWD only model

it has happened a couple of times. if when making a turn around a round about or an intersection etc and i hit a large bump or rut in the road with one of my rear wheels the slip light comes on gives a couple of flashes and i loose power until the light goes back off. i just want someone to explain what is happening and if i can stop it. i am pretty sure but not certain that when i turn my traction controll off it doesn't happen.

i think i have read on here somewhere that that light comes on when the LSD slips but i am pretty sure there is no problem with my diff as she steps out pretty nicely under power when i ask her to.

Thats exactly how the traction control works.

How fast are you going around these roundabouts, bumps or rut's on the road....???

the 'slip' light is telling you that your rear tyres are 'slipping' on the road, when that happens, it will cut power to the rear wheels, Thus: "Traction Control".

Nothing to do with your LSD slipping.....

If you dont want that to happen... turn your "Traction Control" off....... :D

not going fast at all. it happens most on 90 degree turns at sets of lights if i just touch a yellow ripple hump or something. i was just curious thats all so if it's meant to be happening then thats fine. i thought that it might have been a loose sensor or something.

Happens with mine as well but mine doesnt sound as sensitive.

it wont happen with TC off

with TC off you will never lose power when breaking traction or at least i never have.

just tested this on the way to uni today hahaha.
