Hey, i just bought the car and was going over the vehicle when i realised that the car has a 100K kms sticker on the airbox.

I know that when the R33's get a 100K service, the sticker is place on the timing belt cover

I would just like to know if this car has done the service OR if the compliancer return the stock airbox for compliancing and bought a box with a 100K service sticker?

Car is only showing 56K atm

Its anyone's guess really, no one can tell.

Its probley a Reminder to change the timing belt at 100,000K's.

If it has been changed, the sticker should have the amount of K's stamped on when it was changed, cuz some ppl change it before 100,000k's or after.

Best way to check is to get your mechanic to take off the cam covers and have a look. If its a still the stock timing belt, it should have Nissan written over it and its aftermarket if its got (for example) Nismo written over it.

Most good mechanics will be able to give you a estimate of how many KMs a car has done just by looking at general points and comparing it with the vehicles age.

There would be a noticeable difference between 50k kms, and 100k kms.

Is this sticker a printed Nissan sticker?

...or does it have handwriting on it?

I have the same silver sticker on my airbox as well. Its just a reminder from nissan to change timing belt around the 100,000Km mark.

A photo of the sticker would great just to confirm what it is though.

the car holds it's true kms, because it still has factory timing belt and no stamp. I just found out recently from a mate of mine at Autobarn
