Hey guys, my names Darren and for those people who dont know me already, i live on the gold coast and have been part of this club for nearly 2 years.

Anyway the reason for this post is as it says in the title, sal (my fiancee) and i have just met a group of business men and women that have put forward an opportunity to us that we couldn't refuse.

If you want to make some money, on top of what u already do, and have 15 mins spare time for us to go thru the idea with you to see if your interested give me a call on 0432 035 873 or msg me and ill call you back.

Like i said we are based on the gold coast so if ur in brissie and ur REALLY keen u may have to head down here some time, but we will always try to come to you if possible. But like i said we will only take 15mins out of ur day to go thru the plan with u.

Retirementville says it all.

why would i want to explain it on here to a group of people that have already made their mind up about it??

all i can say is YEP! its amyway!!! and its great!!! My parents did it in the 80's and left cos they didnt have time to work it, however they continued buying the products, even after we moved to aus mum met a women who sold the stuff and continues to buy all the cleaning gear etc cos there good quality products.

Believe me as was as sceptical as the next person wen i was approached, however myself and my fiancee were about to go to the bank for a loan to buy a business (dog grooming lol) instead of a house cos the markets were so unstable and wen we saw this we sat down and weighed the 2 up. Anway came out better.

I agree, it aint for everyone, people with no confidance or people skillz will FAIL hardcore, and people who arnt interested in owning a business will FAIL.

Amway is for people who want a business but cant afford to buy a franchise or pay rent for a shop, staff etc.

Flamers flame away, if ur not interested WHY REPLY???

neway mod-please close this thread, sau aint the place to look for business minded folk, obviously.

ps for everyone wondering why id want to do this- i have NO education and do not want to work in a supermarket for the rest of my life lol

o and im a dodgy f**ker being irish and all lol, all people hu have met me will tell u how dodgy i am.

LMAO, I love the reverse psychology "sau aint the place to look for business minded folk, obviously". Classic man. Next tell me "all the cool kids do it", or "your not tough enough to hand out with us"

The reason why we reply is that we want to protect our fello Skyline buddies who may not have heard of the "Opportunity" before (which by the way is never named outright, thats got to tell you something) and hopefully stop them from doing something stupid.

    • I'm running a Haltech Platinum Pro with the stock map for the RB20DET + tweaks for my build. When I started it this morning, the IAT was at 32F/0C (Outside temp was ~42F) and the AFRs went off the scale for my AEM gauge. I let it run for ~30 seconds then turned it off. I then did a smoke test, by hooking into a vacuum line directly behind the throttle body, and confirmed there was no leaks ( i let the smoke tester run for ~5 minutes / confirmed it was generating smoke before hand ). I then started the car again, after fixing a power steering leak.... and it seemed to be happy for ~30 seconds (was at ~11/12), but then seemingly shot back up to ~18 again. I then let the car run for a few minutes, thinking this was just cold start related, but the AFRs never came back down. I didn't let the car fully warm up, so maybe this makes sense, but I'm not sure what to do? The AFRs, when I last ran it, were normal, but because of personal reasons I haven't been able to break in the car. It was rebuilt last year.
