Hey guys, ive been pretty annoyed for the past month and i'll tell you why haha.

My park light is yellow. My xenon's look outta place when my parks are yellow, and on top of that my strobes which are sitting in the front bar are bright white, but with the parks on it looks shocking.

My question is.

What type of bulbs are the Parklights ?

And how hard is it to change, i did a search, and all i got was something about a rubber flap and twisting and turning.. but what the hell ? lol.

Pics please ?

Anyways i stumbled across these on eBay ( yes im on eBay alot at work, dont buy much, just like looking around )

and this..

Which one would work ? Are they really T10 lights ?

go to your local auto shop that deals with narva bulbs and ask for a box of "47501" they are 12V 5W T-10mm white LED wedge bulbs they are a direct replacement for the standard park light bulbs. They are easy to replace just locate the socket on the back of the headlight, twist it remove old bulb and replace with led bulb then twist the socket back into headlight assy (which mat be hard to twist it the full way because lack of space and all) i have done this to mine looks good but as u would expect doesn't put out as much light, not that it really matters

I just changed my lights today to "neon blue-ish" coloured bulbs. Looks very nice, but not that easy to put into an R34. Thought i might lend some help since this topic comes up when u google "changing r34 parker lights" or somthing and theres not really a detailed explanation of how to take the plugs out and put them in.

The driver side parker lights are located right beside the Headlights, the big round looking thing. U can just see the rectangle plug sticking out from deeper inside, grab the plug and twist anti-clockwise. If this is the first time opening the parker lights, it can be hard, but it will move. Apply a strong persistent pressure, do NOT jerk it. The plug turns about 90 degrees, then u can gently wiggle it out of the socket. The bulb also wiggles out of its socket, put the replacement bulb in, check if it works (to see if polarity is right) and put it back in.

The passenger side parker lights are a LOT harder to get to. I have huge hands, but i managed. These parker lights are reflectively the same position beside the headlights, just a bit deeper in, and the chasis takes up a lot more room. I reccomend using a long nose tool or some sort of tool to grab the rectangle plugs, once u have managed to turn the plug 90 degrees, you have to pull it out till it hits the ridge, then twist it such that one side of the ridge comes out first, then the rest. Bit hard to explain, but you'll get the feel for it. Then repeat for replacing the bulb and test if it works, put it back in.

Enjoy :D

Buds,

Just did mine, i'm in the opposite boat. Parkers are white the rest is yellow.

T10, get multi directional ones. If you want pics I can get them but they're only $10.

Got them from 666DAN(SAU) his ebay account: and the one I got:

My car would probably be very different from yours.. but one side I could get my hand down and get to the parker, other side.. I couldn't and resulted in removing front bar and then doing.

Good luck.

Really JRM? I put some white LED T10's in, which have a slight blue tinge. If that's a defect in SA, I may have to swap back, because that's a pretty stupid thing to get done for.
