Autometer Tacho Wiring ?

Hi, just purchased a New Autometer Cobalt gauge but no instructions as the previous owner purchased the tach but never installed it and managed to lose the installation instructions in the process.

NOW. Which wire do I clip on the back of the Autometer Tacho for a R33 Skyline ??? Do I clip the brown wire only ?? OR do I clip both the brown AND blue wires ? also, do I hook up the green wire to the tach output on the ECU ?

Any help is appreciated.

Pretty much only cut the brown wire. According to the instructions the blue wire is used for something, but dont think you will actually need it. so pretty much do:

Green = ECU tacho output

White = Dash Lighting

Red = Connect to ignition with a fuse

Black = ground

And you should be fine

Yep 100% cut just the brown wire, installed one into a mates car the other week.
