Tips On Placing Avcr In R34 Din?

im trying to mount my AVCR into the r34 DIN area. ive got a piece of cardboard behind the AVCR in the pic. i want the AVCR to sit flush. any ideas?

just make up a bracket and screw it into the surround, then stick the AVCR onto that

I did the same thing with my blitz boost controller and power meter,

made the bracket out of some plastic/pvc(I actually cut and used a side of my old hi-fi system, was strong enough and had a nice colour to it ),cut, bent and shaped it to get the right spacing and screw position.

then some doublesided tabe to secure the 2 items onto it, looks perfect imo, noone knows its a backyard job

try a piece of styrofoam (spelling? the white blocky things in boxes when you buy tv's,dvd players etc) that will make it sit more stable then cardboard. just cut it to size, jam it in and squeeze the avcr in.

off topic, anyone have pics of aftermarket 52mm gauges fitted to standard R34 GTT standard triple gauge on the dash?
