hey guys, waiting for a new pfc for my car and in the mean time have the old ecu hooked up again (ugh). anyway, aside from the depressing power loss, the idle fluctuates real bad. it'll be sitting on 1 then drop down to around 300 and back up again, and down, and up... you get it. what's going on? no mods other than apexi intake kit. cheers guys.

heaps of threads already, but disconnect the battery, and then turn on your lights, wipers, indicators, radio, anything that sucks power, then leave it for half hour then reconnect your battery. ECU should reset itself. Some poeple believe theres buttons or fuses and stuff that you need to play with, and im not sure on that, but most people believe disconnecting the battery does the trick.

Disconnect the battery and pump the brakes is what i heard??? If you leave your wipers/headlights/stereo on for half an hour or so i'll be surprised if your car will start let alone idle. Anyway here's the link
