ive noticed thw other day when the car was running and the bonnet was up that i could hear a big air leak. now in the pic ive drawn a yellow line where the air is coming from is this common in 32 gtr and is it expensive to replace at all.

looks like a vacuum leak on the air assisted clutch master - pull the hose off from the plenum and see if its cracked.. if it is, order in a new pipe from nissan or try to find something similar from your local auto parts.

Yeah i've had that happen to me twice.

I had a very heavy twin plate and i think that may have contributed to the cracks. New lighter clutch and haven't had a problem.

You mean the booster don't you???

Yeah my guess would be a hole in the diaphram inside the clutch booster itself. Well thats where the drawing appears to be. Have you noticed any difference in clutch pedal feeling? Is it any heavier? With a vacuum leak you will also get bad/fast idle etc
