hey guys im goin through my rb26 rebuild, its got power fc 2530's cp pistons with eagle rods, r34 crank, oil drain from back of head, jun sump baffle, tomei oil restrictor, fresh ported head, will be limited to 8000rpm, however will be seeing a few track days, for drifting and also will be a street car, my question is wat oil pump to use should i get a new std one, aftermarket like jun, tomei, or keep the one ive got which is from a r34,

any help will be much appreciated cheers, Johnny

I would really only consider a jun/tomei/etc pump if you have an enlarged sump. you do have the oil return whcih helps but those pumps can shift a huge amount of oil at high (track) RPM.

JUN and TRUST same item....

not in my books

but yes as BB and Nis. said earlier...

An N1 pump will live quite happily in a 8000rpm rev limited car that does not use ignition cut.

The JUN and Tomei pumps will empty a stock sump at high rev's quite easily.
