I am currently in contact with JDMYARD in sydney who are the Official Distributors of Injen here in NSW.

i have a stillen Z-tube. highly recommended as its a perfect 100% fit and sounds great

don't expect any performance gain however with ANY intake otherwise you are kidding yourself. there is quite a sound difference at wide-open throttle however

i will be selling my intake shortly if you want to hold off for a few weeks

the injen kit looks great but i have heard that the fitment isn't so good

Still no idea as they havent gotten back to me.... not happy!!

I hate it when places say "i will get back to you" because they never do!

I don't think any place has ever "gotten back to me". I've always had to call back.

Just keep calling them - you'll get info eventually.

stillen z-tube is basically just a smooth pipe that connects the back ofthe AFM to the front of hte throttle body, thus eliminating the baffle and large resonator type device that slows down airflow on our car

the high-flow part is basically a pod and airbox that replaces the standard airbox. i simply replaced the standard filter with a K&N panel filter to achieve the same net result

basically any form of intake sounds great when WOT but the difference is not noticable at any other throttle position. get the cheapest kit you can that fits well.

i got mine from www.stillen.com but you can also get it from www.everythingg35.com and probably a few other places

I fitted a Z-tube to mine last weekend with the factory airbox and K&N panel filter as well. Apart from the more aggresive rev note around 3-4k rpm, I think there was a slightly noticeable increase in performance as well...but maybe thats just my ass dyno at work ;)

Hey guys,

If anyone here has decided to change their airbox and are looking to unload their OE "power" Airbox (the open one with the foam surrounds), I would be interested in taking it off your hands.

(don't see any in the For Sale section)

Just make your own. Costs less than $20. Cheaper than buying it from Nissan and just as effective. :P

Yeah, I saw the pics you posted a while ago in the other thread, it looks great....

Have you managed to fill the gap on the lower front of the box?

Yes, I used a piece of foam and glued it in the gap at the front. It is attached to a piece of L shaped extruded plastic that I cat groves in the end so it slides down the front edge of the air box and will not fall out. It sits just under the front composite cross member.

I folded the rubber seal on the bonnet back so it would allow air to flow and not block it off. I used a piece of wire in the end of the rubber and then bent it so it stays to the side. (just in case I ever want to out it back to stock)
