I Need More Power! But Of The Electrical Kind...

hey guys, so i need more power (amps) to drive my thermo fan and stereo...

lights are dimming to the beat of the music and when the thermo kicks in (all 16" of her!)

so can i get a bigger alternator or what do i need to do?

Get a capacitor or perhaps a secondary battery.

By the sounds of it id either try a replacement battery first and run bigger grounds (im sure yours are 12+ years old) for dimming grounding is often the issue.

If this all fails your alternator is rooted.

get a battery that is the same size as yours but a higher CCA

basically it packs in more power into the same tiny package...

that or relocate your battery to the boot and install a monstrous one
