Hey guys,

I just thought id post up my latest experience with Toyo Proxes R1R's.

I have driven many cars on many diffrent tyres this includes race cars and race tyres and i have to say I have never driven on a street tyre that offers such amazing performance. It has the grip of a quality semi comp with the noise and comfort of a performance street tyre.

I can not recomend these tyres any higher.

They are far superior to the Bridgestone RE01's and they have a tread wear rating of 140.

I will be using these tyres in the future for daily driving and track days when racing in street tyre catogry.

I am running a 235/45/17. Can not review on any other sizes at this stage.

What size are your rims?

I was quoted $330 for T1R's and RE001's in 255/40/R17's for the back set. I got 9's on the back. Good to hear anyway that they're an awesome tyre. I've used T1R's in the past and was impressed.

RE01-R 235/45R17 $355 each fitted and ballanced

race compound and construction in a st tread and depth, the best compramise i've found and they destroy RE01's and RE001's but i cant vouch for the T1R's

Will definetly be going toyo rubber next tyre change, always hearing positive feedback! Best tyre I've run so far would be pirelli dragons, have maz1's on there now but they are only available in 235/40/18 where as I really need a minimum of 255/35/18 (high hp gtr).
