Hi,

Just wanted to ask what springs are out there for a 2001 Skyline v35 250gt 4 door sedan.

I'm from Melbourne and I called a couple of places and the only place that could get them said they only have tiens and they would set me back ~$800 and may have 1+ weeks waiting time to have them shipped them from Japan??

Anyone have any suggestions? I've looked on ebay and found only springs for g35/v35 but says for year 03+?

Any help would be great... I dont have the car yet but i'm just looking at my options and planning ahead...

Thanks,

Dan.

$800 for a set of Tein Springs??????????????? Thats a bloody rip off!

Now i'm not 100% but am pretty certain the 250gt and 350Gt have the same suspension setup...if you can verify these then your options have widened as they will be compatible with 350z springs.

I am currently running a complete 350z factory suspension in my 350gt sedan. It is a straight fit and lowers the car by approx 1" all round. Most people in the US just replace the springs with the 350z ones and use existing struts, works as well.

Would a set of standard R34 GTR (ie non V-Spec) ones fit?

I have a set so long as they fit - not harsh like V-Spec. $80 + post.

Check tho' eh?

Cheers,

Tez

Hi mate,

I'm looking to lower the car a couple of inches... and just thought $800 was rediculous... looking for any guides on how much others may have paid to lower a v35... I dont have any intention to track the car so not fussed on cornering...
