i was wondering if an r33 turbo can be turned off or turned down when doing city driving, and turned back up when needed?

does one of those pro spec b things do it?????

if it is possible and not too hard to do, can it be done in the cabin???

Can a turbo be turned off...........

*sigh*

The profec B is an electronic boost controller, it allows you to alter the air pressure signal to the actuator on the turbo to trick it into keeping the wastegate closed for longer, which in essence increases boost pressure. All boost controllers allow you to INCREASE boost pressure. You cannot go lower than the factory boost pressure on the standard actuator/wastegate setup, which is like 7psi.

What are you trying to do?

you should probably read more into how a turbo works if you havent already done so

city driving wont see you on boost anyways so it makes no diff in my opinion. are you trying to save petrol or something? as above what are you trying to achieve? Just learn to control your right foot.

Sure can!

The switch is controlled proportionally with the movement of your right foot :)
