Does your car do this??

I find if my car is sat to idle, say while im chatting to someone beside the car. As soon as i take off again the car goes a fair bit harder than normal. After a small while the car goes back to how it usually is. Does anybody else's rb20det do this? Otherwise, do you think maybe i have an over fuelling problem and when it sits at idle for a while it isn't over fueling much because im not accelerating so therefore when i take off it's not pre flooded??? This theory may be absolutely stupid but im just taking a guess at it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you intacoola could be suffering from heat soak if it goes slow after a while.. i notice it heaps.. after you drive slowly or sit there it cools down and starts working agian.

yeah mine does the same stuff, espcially today since it was pretty warm in sydney felt a huge difference. Would a bigger intercooler make this go away or less noticable?

I think i might try and get a front mount before summer hits, otherwise set up a water spray setup for the current one if the cash is low.
