Misfire

Ok so changed sparkplugs (gapped to.8mm) and installed some splitfire coils and the misfire is still there.... it only happens at idle, it fine as soon as the throttle starts to open. its a RB20DET. any ideas???

are you sure its a misfire, and not a rough idle issue?

im getting 600cc and a haltech E8 soon so i guess ill just have to wait till then. im just worried thats its the wiring thats all....

O2 sensor perhaps

mine would 'pop' on idle, turned off the O2 via the PFC, idle perfect

same problem ,for the life of me i can't work it out .ive taken it to 2 of the best work shops in sydney and they can't figure it out ,so i was told not to worry about it.let me know if you find a solution.

Had it dynoed last year, AFR was spoton and it missed then. made 151.1rwkw with 3" catback (possibly 3.5") pod and FMIC at 10.6 psi. Since then ive added 3" metalcat, oil cooler and the splitfires. i know fp is good but i have a 040 waiting to go in and ill be upgrading to 600cc as ill need it.

i have another here in mystery condition, came with the dump that came with RB20 turbo i got. ill try it and see what happens. im changing to a nismo lower temp thermostat aswell.
