my question is every company you deal with have a customer standard mission statement and they are accountable for there customer service

it seems the po po have no customer service training at all

yeah yeah i know they see dead people and all that but if i get a little heated in my workplace i get pulled up and dealt with

i dont realy have any point though just like a toyota aurion

If you had to drive a Holden or Ford around all day you wouldn't be happy would you :(

Go to Logan and see how nice they treat you there..........I hear the attitude of Logan police to modified car owners and just generally are the worst......If your dealing with scumbags all day everyday you would find it hard not to become jaded......

I dont think things getting heated in your workplace compares to being a police officer.......

There are good ones around but their usually the ones that drive past and dont pull you over, so you dont get to see them......

hey all,

live on far north coast nsw, yamba. go to the spit sometimes and have never been pulled over, cause nsw rego maybe?? queensland cops don't touch me?????, but then the cocks in nsw fine me for me bloody fog lights!!!! what a softcock couldn't defect me but had to fine me somehow. does this happen up there- foglight fines??? :(

sleeper FTW.

I got pulled up once, like 4am. cop wanted to look at the turbo (why is beyond me) anyway long story short poor fella placed his hand on the hot end of the dump pipe...yes it did suck to be him that day, no it didn't smell like bacon.

there's a cold end??

there's a colder end but its still nice and toasty.

still funny though

yes i see your point

i just feel if there letting there emotions rule there job .......maybe there not the best possible staff the police have working for them.

ive often been harassed by the po po due to having some "interesting" family members so ive dealt with them on and off for quite awhile and i myself may have developed a scewed point of veiw...

but i just feel there should be a minimum standard of operation and they should be mentaly capable of restraining there emotions and carry out the core of there job.

sorry if i have hurt any of the police reading this but im just a guy that has an opinion :)

cheers

I do feel that we are targeted unfairly sometimes but raw emotion is necessary i believe in a job like that. I think its the instilled hate for modified cars that is unjust. The other day i had a car following me for a fair while. We had a late model 380 go flying past at least 90k's in a 60 and they still decided to pull me over for a license rbt and quick substance check of my car. Surely the speeding car was more of an interesting target not me who had been putting round at about 5 under the limit all day.

The perks of living in surfers I suppose. I would have to say that I get picked on in my civic as well. Not as much but because it has a kit it’s totally a fully sick hoon machine.

I work graveyards in surfers and know a lot of them personally and need to call them occasionally. I hold a lot of respect for police and wouldn’t do their job for twice the pay. If it wasn’t for them I would say that there is a good chance we probably wouldn’t have our cars or home appliances as they would have been stolen long ago. Just wish they didn’t get trained that an exhaust is the root of all evil. :)

PS id never venture down to the spit unless i was ready to de reg my car and make it a track car. As striker said. Going to the spit/hot spots in a serious car is just stupid.

    • Maybe I also should have wrote that a bit better lol. I did come 8th last in English at school during the HSC, ironically spent 2 decades reading/writing specifications and contracts in IT 😂
    • Right, but that's in-cylinder, there's the interaction between that and the TWC which complicates things. Pulling out timing to reduce NOx is a strategy I saw in transitional emissions vehicles like stuff from 1974 or so. The two inlet runner system is interesting but I'm not sure it makes a huge difference as far as emissions goes, is it a tumble valve? I've seen stuff like that even in cars from the late 80s.
    • Hello all,   so i recently swapped out my rb20de neo with an rb25de neo( engine, transmission, wiring and the diff everything) but i just cant get the gear indication light on the dash to work when i switch to tiptronic mode. Note there is a steering wheel switch beside the shifter and i dont have that. I did notice yesterday while switching to tiptronic that the indicator on the dash started to work but it didn't afterwards. Does anyone know how this actually works? Or do i still need that steering wheel switch to be connected and on for that gear indicator to work?
    • Hence why I said earlier that I don't think the turbo Neos ever would have actually qualified as an LEV. I suspect the only actual LEVs that came out of Nissan were the NA Neos. Still call them all Neos. They all stil have the Neo-ness. Just that they don't all qualify as as LEVs.
    • It will give gains, but you wont hit 600 It will give gains but it wont get you to 600 imo. You will also sacrifice low down and you will be adding extra volume if you port match it, more so if you port the plenum runners depending and how its done I think the only time youre going to see about 100hp gains is if the car is making well over 1k kw I do have a spare set that I was going to test with, but i dont actually think there is anything worth getting going larger. I did a fair few S14/S15 and the standard TB is fairly small, I went to 60 and in some cases 64mm which is significant over the stock unit. You can also get some weird ratio changes. I think 20kw will be a stretch on a roller dyno. If I had it apart I might mill the shafts a little and not expect much, I think the stock size is still pretty good for a street/track car even with larger capacity. I might change diameter it if its a drag only car
