Nobody is getting this car for $45,000 lol

SAU has this stupid thing where you cant edit your first post.

On the last J Spec email I got today, standard 99 R34 GTR's are still high $50's, mines already here and registered

There is a guy with an RX7 and another with an EVO9 that seem pretty keen in doing a deal, a couple of others havent responded yet once money gets mentioned

Worst case scenario.....I get stuck with a black R34 GTR lol

Well whatever the new price is im sure they will get a nice car..

Okay, looks like the car is gone, I have found a suitable trade and cash adjustment.

Last call.

There are a couple of guys interested who havent come up with a cash figure, if you plan to do so, best be quick or the car is going to QLD.

The cars in question are an R33 GTR and an R33 GTST, I dont have your numbers, so call me on 0404 453 542

OKay, I just did some research on engine longevity in RX7's lol, my car is NOT going to QLD and I am not interested in RX7's as a trade in. Why would anyone buy one?

As you were

hay m

i have an r34 gtt

80,000kms

just had a major service and oil change

cooler

front and rear carbon strut braces

LOL Markos, you'll be looking at an engine rebuild for the RX7.. Fuel economy is shit on them as well. Good choice!

Go the Evo, never go wrong with the 4G63 :D Good luck for your sale.

Is the RX7 the highest maintenance, tempermental, fragile performance car on the planet, as well as one of the best looking, reminds me of a girl I used to.............

I hadnt washed the car or polished it for awhile, due mainly to the f u c k i n g water restrictions.

Anyway, I took the car for a nice spirited drive,so I thought I would take some recent pics, as the ones posted are 6-7 months old I think.

Not that it matters, NOBODY ever comes out to see it :P

Cash price for car is still only $50,000, if you trade a car in it alters, depending on the car.

Free bump, i come to the sales section of sau every now and then to see how the prices are going for r34's - compare mine to what i payed for etc and i cant believe you haven't sold yours yet! - if the bank would lend me 50k right now i would run to the bank, grab the money and run to where ever you live!

Times are tough financially for people now, I know I havent got $50,000 to spend on a car, so I dont expect too many others have either. I hardly drive anymore due to running my gym from home, so I figured I would have an older GTR and free up some cash, but if that doesnt happen, it really doesnt matter, thats why I'm not flexible on the price. The fact nobody has come to look at it indicates the market is flat. If potential buyers were coming out and then not buying, I would have to reconsider the price. The car itself is faultless.

Price is $50,000, not remotely desperate to sell, I own the car, a thriving business, real estate etc, its just that it doesnt get driven, once a fortnight, maybe.

Someone with a nice 32 must want to upgrade, I saw a nice red one on here lol

mmmmm a nice red one !!!!! i wonder who that is lol !!! i would love to do a deal but would have to resell in a few months as i am relocating to dubai and an r35gtr will be waiting for me  good luck with the sale pepe and if you do sell urz u know where to find me :D

    • @Supernanoyour car has ended up in my hands and I was wondering if there has been any work done to the motor?
    • Sigh... yeah OEM mount rear battery, very R33, very demure, very mindful.
    • Would need a substantial current draw in the car to make a bunch of sparks. Obvs to now test resistance to ground of the car's B+ lead. If there's a short there, you'll see it. Only likely place for that, as you suspect is alternator. But there is also the possibility that rats have had a chew on some insulation. Shitbox has the battery in the boot, yeah? Plenty of cable to attack.
    • Oh, I thought of that too... I disconnected the battery and hooked up the leads direct to the car without the battery in place. Sparks... I suspect the following: Alternator has decided to kill itself Starter has decided to kill itself I'll recharge the battery, then unplug both, and go from there. The above might take 6 months - however I did buy a Victron 15 AMP trickle charger, apparently it's better than CTEK? Amazon, delivery by tonight. https://www.amazon.com.au/Victron-Battery-Charger-15-Amp-waterproof/dp/B07P4LMMMD?ref_=ast_sto_dp
