Car - 1974 Datsun 260z Fairlady

Mileage - 43,520km

Suspension - 50mm Bilstein Coilovers (heismans worth $4300)

- Konig dish rims with Bridgestone Potenza GIII's

($1,600)

- All suspension bushings replaced to give it very precise handling.

Body - Resprayed CRV `07-spec silver 3 months ago ($3500). Exterior was stripped back to metal.

Motor - Used rebuilt L-series motor with mild cam.

-Stard SU carbs.

-Full exhaust system including Stewart Wilkins headers

Interior - Very clean for car this age. All original.

Weld in CAMS approved half cage (no engineering required as it's a two seater). And old car with thin A-pillar really does need this for safety.

General Comments: Car is super clean and reliable. Have had all service parts replaced i.e wheel bearings, gaskets, window seals, oils.....etc

Sick car man if i recall there was one just like this or this one for sale a while back almost a year ago i almost brought it man i love silver 260z's but i ended up buy a old one and im restoring it now seeing your car makes me want to do it silver sick car man looks hot as!

yeh man that was me and it's the same car. I had a buyer for $11K back then but I pulled out the last minute.

since then it's had a new paint job and another motor and it's fresher than before hence prices has gone up.

G'luck with yours.............their quite addictive.

Dunno, but my mate just checked through the for sale lists and japan and the last one was sold for 6mill yen :rant:

um mines not that perfect.........though if i knew i can get that sort of price I can get it 'that' perfect.............hehehhee.

wasn't even in the relms of possibilities for me...............still quite content with the price it sold.

only regret is the driving experience these things give when their well sorted.

I've seen what comes out of jp and their all 100% original...........my one is far from it.

thanks for the tip though..........as I'm sure i'll buy another in the future.
