turbo

25 stockers generally run out of puff right at the top

drop your exhaust if you think thats the restriction but i think you will find it will be roughly the same

25 turbos on 25's generally run out of puff at the top, just like 20 turbos on 20.

25 turbos on 20's give the RB20 that extra breathing up top that the stock turbo doesn't.

Updates?

I'm looking for highflow cat. but not sure about the xforce ones. How did your investigation go?

well i went in for a dyno run to find out if it was the cat, but ended up spending 2 hours working out why my car was running like crap (turns out my AFM died on the way to the shop)..

i've decided to "increase the flow" in my cat and i can feel an improvement. Hopefully put it back on the dyno soon and see for certain whether the problem is fixed.

But the general consensus i've read is that the ceramic hi-flow cats aren't much better than the standard cat, where as the metal internal cats are good (but may not meet legal requirements).

Ahh, so your cat was a ceramic one. yeah, I was going to avoid all ceramic ones.

Metal cats should be fine for meeting the legal requirements. It's only when you drill your cat or de-cat your car that the inspectors get pissed off.

I'm sooo tempted to drill mine out, But I just know that if I do I'll get caught and cop the big fine...
