All.

Its with regret i announce Bass Junky - Pete has stepped off committee due to work & family.

This is mainly his job which is evermore demanding each month and seeing him with less time each month to pursue other things as he is flying around the country (and to NZ) almost daily.

I would like to thank Pete for the work done so far this year, been a great help and the latest newsletter will be out in a week or two.

He will be missed, but not too far away :(

His replacement is PaulR33 - Paul

Paul has been in & around committee since the clubs formation so he's up to speed with what needs doing and should add great value once again.

He'll be looking after the newsletter and so on that Pete leaves us :D

Also - we are looking for another person to join committee and work with Paul on getting the newsletter out.

We have a fixed template and use InDesign (have a copy on CD for whomever). So you might be involved in creating/formatting the newsletter, or perhaps writing and attaining articles for the newsletter if thats what your drive is.

The exact tasks can be discussed - but if you are interested in giving SAU-Vic some of your free time each month, im sure members would appreciate it.

If you think you have what it takes, drop me an email

[email protected]

Thanks

Ash

Hey ppls,

Thanks for your kind words Ash.

There comes a time when we all must give away some of the things that we enjoy doing to focus on "The Big Picture"

My work is taking me to many and varied locations around the region and my schedule leaves me very little time outside of my family committments to pursue my passion for all things automotive.

So much so that I'm also selling my car, as it's simply being used as a daily driver at the moment and going to waste. It should be in the hands of somebody who is going to give it the lifestyle if deserves.

The same is true for the newsletter. It needs to be put together by somebody who can attend the meetings, go on the cruises and be more active in the club than I can be at the moment.

Paul, I wish you luck with your new charge, if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask, I'm always around to give people a hand.

This is making me all sad now.

:'(
