Saw some of these cars passing me like I was standing still the weekend before this on the test and tune day, awsome things. I was in the white 32 GTR with the SAU WA sticker's in the qtr windows

Ah ,yes I was driving the Blue United Oil Series 6 RX7

I remember seeing you there.

Where can i read more about Kerry Wade's R32 GTSt?

Not sure I think its all kept pretty close to their chest!

I know its a R32 GTST with a twin turbo RB26 in it.

All cars run the PPG straight cut do box 5 speed.

we have limits on wieght/tyre size.

My RX7 is 1210kg with 16x7 inch rims, 225/50/16 Bridgestone RE55 control tyre.

i went down and checked this event out with a mate and damn it looks like awesome fun, im building a 32 gtr up for track and was interested in joining up but speaking to a few drivers and costs seem to go through the roof doing these sorts of events, they all said dont bother unless u run a dry sump for a start  I could get the car specs as good as most, but the ongoing costs seem to be alot more than i imagined.

The late model rx7s including yours kingscorp are the best base for this type of track work going by what i saw on the weekend, they seem to be soo competitive in all motorsport to be honest, the little rotors dont get enough credit in my book. They also sound awesome in person definately one of my favourites. Wade's r32 is right up there too, we left before the last race, who ended up winning that one in your class scorp?

great racing guys, good dicing and a little rubbing but nothing silly. I like the look of the gtst's interior too lol.

unique1...sorry to say there's no such thing as cheap racing. I stuck to production cars to keep the costs down but its still a real big step up from a club car and supersprints. If you can't spend enough you will just end up at the back (or in the paddock) no matter what class it is.

All i want to know is what suspension and power is the GTSt making. I have been thinking about a PPG gearbox, but they dont make a gearset for the R32 GTSt box  A good gearbox is cheaper then a bigger engine and power that jsut stresses everything else on the car

It would be a genuine 450rwhp as are all the front running cars you see in the footage. I would say its a R33 GTST gearbox, it is definatly a PPG gear set

    • Well, turns out not a lot happened from back then to now, between life again, and working on 3 separate other cars (only one of which was mine, and will now be departing the household soon).   So I decided with the whole "don't go outside, it's a cyclone!" Turning in to being not a whole lot, I ventured down to the garage, found a couple of water leaks in the shed (the main one I've already fixed), and then ended up "stuck" as it started pouring rain, and I didn't want to walk back inside in the pouring rain. This meant I ended up taking a look at the Skyline, and trying to work out what past Matt had been upto. I retraced a few things out from scratch, added the rest of the power feeds in that I needed for the indicators, and headlights. Double checked I'd wired a few things up correctly (and worked out how I wired a few things to begin with), updated my sparse notes. Added one of the ground points. Oh, and got really really dusty, as the car is quite dirty. Wrote up quickly what should be left for me to do with the wiring too. Adding the below photos more for my records than anything else. I need to make myself a proper book for the car that details everything, and how I've done it, but for now, this is my records... The third image is my most important one for me, and I need to draw it out into a proper schematic eventually. The last photo is my re-written list, I'd have put it on the white board, except I had to take the white board down to fix one of the water leaks.
