Well x-force is a good brand at a good price. There lesser flowing high flows however just arent up there for performance

ok so i got my car retuned on saturday with the new metalcat in place of the xforce ceramic cat. i dont have dyno graphs as the printer wasnt working, but before my car made about 195-199 kws, with the new metalcat it now makes about 205 or so. On the graphs there wasnt really any difference in pulling power through the mid range, but more top end.

so i suppose ive gained around 5-10kws for an extra 200 bucks. I would be very interested to see what kind of flow the xforce racing cats make, they seem to look ok??

Question about cats allways comes up.

I just want to know a good brand with a good price, not something for crazy power as most people dont have over 260 kws

The X force cats are fine for that power.

I'm only pushing 183rwkw and the ceramic Xforce cats definately affected my car in a bad way.

Bought the bottom XForce Cat, car makes 353.08HP at the wheels.. Seems alright... has to be better than stock!

I put a 3" supposedly "high flow" Xforce cat in to go over the pits and it was crap. Loss of power and response, felt like crap to drive, took it out as soon as I got home.

I was trying to push 3L worth of exhaust gasses through it though.

Which cat are you running? a "High flow"? or a "Race" cat?

And if you went from a stock exhaust to a full Xforce exhaust then yes, it is going to feel a lot better but you have nothing but a stock exhaust to compare it to.

I am running high flow not race. The high flow cat flows pretty much the same as a 5inch metal cat (give or take 5kw @ 200kw power range)

So afaik they are great quality and great value for money. Not sure what was wrong with yours? 3L maybe too much.
