Relocating Bov

Hey guys just a quick question on relocating my BOV.

Ok well atm i hav the stock BOV on, and i have a stealth style front mount. So my question is can i place my new HKS SSQV on the intercooler pipe that goes behind the cooler, (so no1 can see it) and simply block off the stock one by placing a metal plate under it. so when i pop the bonnet it still looks like i dont hav an after market BOV.

appreciate any comments/recommendations, will the HKS still be as loud as if it was placed where the stock one is?

you can do that

will it work in 'fooling' the law, probably not.

placement doesnt really make a difference, ive had them both before and after cooler

you can put a BOV any where on the intercooler piping as long as it is before the throttle body and after the turbo. So yes u can weld on the HKS one to your cooler piping and just put a metal sheet between the stock bov and its mounting flage.

would it make much difference putting it after the cooler as opposed to before? always wondered this...

like i said, ive run mine on both sides, didn't notice any difference

obviously theory would tell you its best to be after the I/C, but it hasn't affected my car in any way
