It may be possible, but it wouldn't be like a 4L RB26. The 26 block is specifically braced and such to allow it to rev as highly as it does. When you do the 26/30 you lose that rev ability, thanks to the different block design.

Putting a 4L block with a 26 head would be similar to what ford aus did with the boss V8, taking one of the best heads on the market (from the mustang) and bolting it to a block derived from heavy machinery that can't rev, effectively leaving the goodness of the head hamstrung.

It doesnt fit on the tb42 or tb45 and the latest 6 cyl (actually 4.8litre) is already double overhead cam, vvt and 4 valves per cylinder. Around 180kw stock but a few ppl have started turboing them with excellent results.....but its a big motor!!
