Elizabeth,, is such a nice place crime converters has a que up on Wednesday am's..... a nice long one, like the entry to rock concert....lol and notice all the prams being sold there?(looks like the ford car yard only prams).. or the 14yr old mums pushin them .....lol

or over by the Salisbury train station, now thats a gr8 place in the daylight,,lol

almost as nice as the parklands in the dark on payment days...lol ooh watch out for the booze runner to the elders he runs across the street often without warning!! almost chocked him up a few times in the daylight sprint across west terrace

and im not going to say how nice noarlunga/downs or christie downs,, and oh dont forget huntfield heights.... hackam, the elizabeth of the south...lol

so now we know all the bad spots , where are the good ones,, without toffy assholes ?

Leabrook if you can afford it, Statenborough St is where its at. Mawson Lakes is nice, small blocks tho, but i guess thats what you get everywhere. I have a big shed, a little shed, spa under pergola, a decent front yard and enough room for backyard cricket out the back, so i dont think i would move to a "house", which pretty much all you get in mawson lakes, and stay at my home, and salisbury north isn't that bad, the housing trust houses are being knocked down and the "Northies" are moving further north into the elizabeth/craigmore area.

1/2 acre block munno para west big yard big house spa under veranda double carport under main roof 60x 20 shed hell my shed is bigger than the pissy blocks they sell at mosquito lakes lol......i love out here i aint moving

walkley heights is a very nice and peacefull area even though some fool stole my thongs out the front a few years ago

lol you leave ya underwear out the front ?

well its happened again in lovely noarlunga centre car park. the elizabeth of the south... my wifes white r31 got black tags all down the side of it , big dent in the front top part of the fender. and looks like keyed all across the boot, back sides. not bad considering it was noon and happened in the busy part of the parking lot ? i swear if i ever catch anyone touching one of my cars they better run fast, cause i'll hunt them down like animals...little bastards have no respect for anything.. her car is average looking at best..assholes

Im at the end of my rope with the crime here, its like the damn hood or something. only kids with too much time and no respect for property.

and a nice story from my physio, her hubby is a cop with a nice restored GT falcon, it was defected and had to go to regency for being too loud,, when it didnt pass he drove it to work, the cops car park with access card only access.. well it was stolen in broad daylight from the cops car park, nobody saw a thing strangely enough.. and to top it off it wasnt insured yet...how lame is that.. and it shows cops defect cops...lol

its sad but a bit funny too.

and i had a mob try to corner my car in a brawl between a shit pot of kids at macca seaford the other night..they stood in front of me in drive thru to try to have ago at me.. i just floored it and drove thru them...try that shit i dont think so.. get run over it you do, think it shocked them to see i wasnt going to stop...lol, the cops rocked up just as i was leaving the parking lot. two car loads of em...lol

and they did defect a shitbox commy with dark windows. right down the street from there..finally a car that needed defecting gets it....lol

thats my rant , i wont say anything else about it... bastard kids and crack heads....grrrrrrr

    • Hi everyone, I'm generally new to DIY projects, and I've browsed this forum and watched a lot of youtube videos but still have a few questions   Firstly, how does spray painting interior hold up? in particular like vinyl parts, my current mode of thinking is to use methyl spirits to take off original paint, clean/prep well, light coats, no primer or clear coat    Secondly, what is recommended for the headliner and, for example (my car is a r34), the A-pillars which are some kind of other fabric material, do you think I would be successful at retrimming these? or would it be better to go down the blacking out via Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Paint    Any other advice / tips / tricks for refreshing/modernising these interiors?    Thanks

    • Just note that when trying to find a short in a globe power supply, it is best to disconnect the globe as it will allow current through to earth. With it unplugged it is easier not to get confused. Also with the r32 wiring, the high beam has 2 power supplies (one when you push the switch forward and the other when you temporarily pull it back; so if it is the high beam blowing you will need to trace both circuits

    • That's a short. Find the short. It will be somewhere between that fuse and the headlight. Start by removing the plugs from the back of the headlight and dimmer switches, and measure resistance to earth. Supply side (power from the fuse) should have none. The other side should have resistance compatible with whatever globe(s) is there (which is relatively easy to say for a normal globe, perhaps not as easy to say for LEDs). Anyway, if you have very low resistance, you defo have a short. Then you just have to run the wiring like you're running the bowel of a dog (on the operating table) that has swallowed something it wasn't supposed to.
