Engine Wont Start

Hey I have a 95 Nissan Skyline S1.5 GTS-T and the damn thing wont start just wondering what it could be first I thought it was the fuel pump because when I crank it over you don't hear the fuel pump squirting fuel but that was due to be changed over anyway with a bosch pump, but it was still not starting so I thought it must be the spark plugs because I haven't changed then since I've had the car which is about 14 months so new plugs were put in today and it's still not starting but now and again it will start and everytime I hear the fuel pump working I know it will start would anyone know what the problem could be?

if you have just used your car there will already be fuel in the lines so you wont hear the pump prime every time you start it.

could be the CAS or the ignition module? get them tested. Its a start
