a hot tip...its unnatural for a woman to give birth laying down on a bed...get a gym mat on the floor and kneel on it supporting your upper body with a chair...Stace made it look easy as when the water broke Elsie was out in 17 minutes. Let gravity do some of the work for you.

We were pretty much on our own the whole time...no doctors or crap like that...it was really good that way. The mid-wife just opened the door every now and then to check if we were doing ok.

I've been present at the birth of a child before, and I saw the birthing. Theres nothing wrong with that... sure its not a simple, clean experience, but neither are a bunch of other things in life. It certainly changes your perspective, cause now the baby is now 13 years old...

Having said that, I don't plan to have kids.... ;P Not because of childbirth incidentally. I just think children aren't worth the hassle > (Listen to some Bill Hicks if u dont get it) (oh and parents, plz dont get offended, its just my opinion)
