Thanks Gav and that was mainly my doing , John just basked in the glory while I did the hard work:D :)

Top work from you and Michael and as I said , to be able to pull off the big circle/small circle consistently gets my respect..:)

I think the guys in Adelaide might be in for a surprise...

Cheers

Ken

yeah well not to sound ****y, but being confident is a start... and im confident we will do well in adelaide.

they probbly are in for a surprise.. as theyve never seen anyone else drift apart from themselves..

im really itching for some proper race track driving, and 3rd gear..

have only used 3rd gear a few times on the street (read: empty industrial area).

Gav

Just a thankyou again for all those that came and spectated/competed.

Was a good day and everyone behaved themselves ( well if you call drifting behaving:D :) ) and am negotiating for the next training day.

Will post a list of people after discussion with John who have qualified for the potential drift demo series next year

The rest will have to speak to me re. further practise.

As for the other thread , I deleted it as it got way too bitchy and we are all here for the common cause, promoting drifting in WA so lets put on a united front please ladies and gentlemen:)

If anyone whores this thread , it goes too:shake:

Cheers

Ken

Great day guys, congratulations to Ken!

You certainly proved your knowledge jumping into seemingly "undriftable" cars and getting them sideways.

Good luck to the guys heading over east, stick it to the JMS boys.

It was good to see low speed drift is all about car control and not big bucks.

The event gave a few new guys a (legal) chance to show off their skills, hopefully this will encourage more guys to attend a few track days and maybe step it up a notch.

I shot some footage, i'll try and get it captured and online soon. Advanced apology to anyone i didn't get on film.

Ken, next you'll have to get the Zig Zag turned into sealed road so we can have Jap style downhill battles !

On a serious note, keep plugging for "potential drift demo series next year", if you need a pile of signatures to prove there's public support let us know. I'm sure there's many on this list and others who could fill a page with signatures.
