Cos he might be selling the car Rhys, im trying to talk him out of it. Not good Teo

While im here does anyone kno anyone selling one of these in wa: http://www.carmate.com.au/product_details....id=NSGTT99GTRFL

If not, anywhere else that have them other than carmate?

Well if that is 'all' they do..

What's to say the same couldn't be achieved in Aus... Surely if they can 'weld' a GTR fender onto a sedan, it can be done here no?

It's extremely expensive to do, but a high end crash shop should be able to fab it to work :)

Hey Aznbongsta, I've managed to get hold of mybodykits on ebay. Will be getting one off him soon. However, I was wonder if you have any side skirts on? They look stock to me. I was planning on getting the front bar, without any side skirts. Then it hit me that the car's overall base might look uneven, with the front bar being too low.

Would love to hear whats your take on this!

Cheers!

ive had a look threw this thread and im only new to this forum and i looked for more pictures of the apm factory r34 4door gtr conversion and its awsome and i was wondering if someone was interested in getting that look what would be involved and roughly how much would it cost???

alot of the four door body kits dont appeal to me i had always had a thing for the east bear kit but once i saw this car and the mean chunky gtr look it has im set on this. i really love what they have done with the rear fenders on the car but would you be able to have the rear fenders the way they are in the images ive attached below but still have the east bear rear bar as i think it looks a little nicer???

if anyone could help would be much appreciated

I saw an r34 with a factory wing I've never seen before, it looks like the normal coupe wing but it had more angle on it and had a brake light in the middle of it.. has anyone see it before?

p.s no its not the one with alloy legs.

Bit of a revival, but here goes.

My car will be at my power figure soon enough and now I want to start planning the exterior mods. I have a white 98' coupe and from my searching I'm pretty set on the Impul sides and rear. Not too sure on the front bar at the moment but would need something that lines up and would like the front indicators fully enclosed. Something like this would be great http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a298384-

Top Secret??

Also, as I live in North Queensland, who would be the best supplier to source kits from? Carmate, or DMD? Any help would be great thanks.

I spotted an unusual front bar on Carsales, the ad says "all factory fitted parts" so I'm assuming it's oem. It's a 2001 car, anyone know what this is? A factory option perhaps? It's even got the SMIC outlet on the left hand side.

Skirts and rear bar look completely standard, so it's not a full bodykit.

It's a series 2 bar mate.

    • 95 is just a scam outright. 98 is the real "premium" with all the best detergents and other additive packages, and at least historically, used to be more dense also. 95 is just 91 bargain basement shit with a little extra octane rating. Of course, there's 91 and there's 91 also. I always (back in the 90s early 2000s) refused to put fuel in from supermarket related fuel chains on the basis that it was nasty half arsed shit imported from Indonesia. Nowadays, I suspect that there is little difference between the nasty half-arsed shit brought in by the "bargain" chains and the nasty half-arsed shit brought in by the big brands, given that most of it is coming from the same SEAsian refineries. Anyway - if there's still anything to that logic, then it would apply to 95 also. 98 is only made in decent refineries and, as I said, is usually the "premium" fuel, both in terms of octane rating and "use this because it's good for your engine because it's got the unicorn jizz in it!".
    • Yeah since those first 2 replies I actually went and put some 98 in it and tbf it's already doing much better than the 95 (which is weird and makes my inner tinfoil hat wearer think the 95 was a crap batch), getting 8ish around town. Again, wonder if it takes a while to stabilize if the fuel is changed a couple of times. I swear cars used to just either run "well" or "s**t* in my 20s, none of this fuel optimisation business haha
    • Any number of different ways. Have the coils draw sufficient current to provide contact wetting. Use different contacts in the switch, either by material or design, better suited to the low current drawn by a relay coil. Etc.
    • Hmm, how does the R34 manage to have headlight relays then without getting excessive carbon buildup on the headlight switch contacts?
    • Not R7R. Meant to type R&R, obviously enough.
