Vooing Noise

Hey guys, I'm getting a strange noise from the passenger side of the car sounds a low mooing sound but with a v (VOOOo), if that makes sense???

seems to be at about a quarter throttle (maybe just as it starts to spool) and seems to be getting more frequent.

At first I thought it was from the rear of the exhaust but now Im not sure, doesn't sound like an exhaust leak though.

Anyone have any ideas

sounds like an electric engine of some type ? .... if so i put it down to the turbo...being a ceramic wheel it spins faster and spools quiker there fore sounding like a dentist dril if u may ...

others may have other idea's or experiance, just my 2cents

posibly a blown turbo gasket, its common, my one started to sound like a vacume cleaner when it happaned.

still, check for exhaust leaks. youd be suprised what turbos sound like when the exhaust is lifting off the side of the engine
