Hi,

I just tried putting on alloy pineapples in my rear cradle but i couldnt get my breaker bar with the socket on the nut to undo it. The reason being the steering arms from the hicas pass directly in front of the nut and there isnt enough room to get the breaker bar/ratchet with the socket. I tried undoing it with a spanner but the spanner was flexing so much it was on the verge of snapping.

I have a hicas elimination bar on the car. Can i unbolt the bar so the arms drop lower and try to get it in there.

Will my rear suspension become un-alined because i have removed it.

How have other guys put these in their cars?

Thanks

I had to take the steering arm off mine, and use a long (maybe 500mm) breaker bar. If you just pop the tie rod end out then there will be no difference to the alignment when it goes back in.

ok.. ill try removing the tierod end later on today.. i didnt really want to remove the hicas elimination bar as the holes are elongated which will definately mean it would need to get re-aligned.

Any other methods/suggestions?

Thanks for the quick replies
