Hey, does this include the price for purchasing the product.

If so you are looking at $2000 for the plug in microtech for the R33. I have one of these and it works great. If you need some advise om me. I could also rfer you to the guys that did mine. (if your in melb).

The LT-12 microtech is also cheaper but not the plug in version.

Cheers.

syndey kid, how hard are autronics to install and tune. The self learning package that is?

They are roughly the same price as a new power fc.

And you chuck away the airflow metre, which is always a good thing! Save up to $300 for the z32 one that you dont need.

have you had any experience with the autronic self learning packages on the rb25dets. Good results? Have had a rough price of around $2500 installed and tuned.

cheers

Sorry bolf, that post didn't answer your question.

Bin a while since I used an Autronic, on the BMW SuperTourer. The Motec self learn is more recent use for me and they are similar in execution. Self learning is great if you have a fast and wide lambda sensor, but they cost $2K on their own. Trying to tune using a narrow and slow lambda sensor ($300) is a waste of time. The self learn software was about $800'ish if I remember rightly, the whole M8 Pro package was around $5K, so that sounds right.

I recommend a lot of Motec self learn systems for guys with no easy access to dynos, expensive but works brilliantly. We tuned a car in 2 laps at Bathurst a couple of years ago, just drove it around. Took it back to the dyno I could barely squeeze a few horsepower out of it despite a couple of hours of trying. Damn accurate, better than many tuners I have seen.

Hope that helps

my mistake around $1700 + install/tune. which was roughly $700.

Is it true that the autronic and the nissan coils, can be a bit of a hassel? It may be an involved ecu, but that can be a good thing, giving more options, functions, and settings to control. In the right hands i think it could work well.

just need to know how compatable they are to a rb25det motor...
