Comments: Fantastic bike... always looked after to the best of my ability, serviced regularly, has a few mods, like, higashi stainless exhaust, throttle derestricted, yz timing change, yz tank and seat and plastics, led tail light.

it has May 09 rego, and is in full road trim, all lights and blinkers work great. unsure of kms as speedo cable broke ages ago and sent speedo haywire.

only thing wrong is it will require 2 new tyres shortly.. bout $100 each for knobblys, i cant afford to get them to be honest as ive just bought an r32 and it needs a few things too.

i was planning on making it a motard, but its too much fun off road.

will email pics as i dont know how to upload them.

cheers

    • I've heard people claim with Just Cars (now defunct) and have been paid out, but painful process, and with Shannons, but noone I know or heard of has claimed with Enthusiast, hence I'm a bit nervous with their policy. Sure I'm "covered" but am I? is the real question
    • I have the Century CC1206 12V 1/3/6Amp 9 Stage Battery Charger. It is different from the one you linked but I don't know in what way. Their manual says that it both can be left on 24/7 and that it shouldn't be left on 24/7. Go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I haven't been game to leave it on there for more than 2 days.
    • I don't read the 2nd paragraph the same way, I believe it is defining "modifications" from the previous paragraph, and I'd be happy to have a lawyer argue that in case of an issue.....if they have agreed to it and listed it on the schedule it is covered. Has anyone had them attempt to deny it based on that reading?
    • Yup, just wanted to make sure I found one that was a trickle charger and not just a battery charger, not sure if there is a difference there but assumed there was, was why I was worried about overcharging.
    • Yup, this is my main concern with Enthusiast. Purely based on the wording in the PDS they have zero obligation to pay me anything. I wonder how it works out in practice because I would expect that the number of actually street-legal modified cars would be rather small. Does Shannons have a similar statement in their PDS?
