Flat spot update!

I just had my car on the dyno and the guy said that the problem is with the spark?

so its either spark plugs ( but they are new! so i dont think so)

coil pack(s)

ignitor

Has any body out there ever had a problem with there ignitor packs?

OK guys & gals!

The problem has been solved!!!!!!!

Thanks to all theose who have suggested solutions and i think this thread could be a good reference to people having similar problems in the future.

The dyno tuner was stumped and could only narrow it down to a spark problem of some description, then he started messing with the gaps.

He changed the gap from .80 to .76 and that made all the difference! Thanks to AutoTech in Canberra for finding the solution, there good guys with a good service...

Andrew - that's great stuff. Good that you didn't need to buy a ciol pack or ingitor module :D

DAMN - 0.04 of a mm made all the difference !!

It just shows how fussy the R33's are with plug gaps :D

So how did it go on the dyno? What sort of kw did it pull ?
