hiya Cairns crew

Im up in cairns lunchtime wed 17/6- sun 21/6 evening.

sunday hitched up for a chopper flight out to the reef, dive then cruise back,

friday doing the skyrail and train sight-see all day

saturday will be a free day to look around central cairns

.... anywhere to look/see? good chippery and/or bakery recommended? :)

lol, hope to see a Stag or 'Line whilst Im lounging around trinity beach with the missus, 1st holiday wooooot

nice man, sounds good. no doubt if ur out at trinity sittin at one of the restaurants on sat u will c a few of us around, trinity is always good for a look..uno to check out the water :)

theres a heaps good bakery in town called meldrums which is always good pies, theyve got a pretty stupid amount of awards on the walls inside.

Anyone up for a cruise this sunday (26/7)??? Might start at Smithy maccas, cruise up to ellis beach, pull over for a chat then maybe head into town for a cruise along the nard?? Thinkin of meetin at smithy at maybe like 12 lunchtime and just cruise? if any1 wants to cruise anywhere else im easy ay just up for a drive??

About: Bought Skyline about a year and a half ago, stock as a rock and have done most of the work on it myself. Keen to do a cruise and meet some other Skyline enthusiasts up here. All details on mods are in the SAU forced induction performance thread on RB30DETs results if anyone wants to have a look.

Sheeeet. I would for sure, but I'm flying to VIC for the weekend.

Back in 2 weeks. Keen as to head out.

I was driving back from Palm Cove 2 weekends ago and a silver 34 GTT chased me around for a bit.

Good to see Cairns is getting a good mob.

Silver 32 GTR if you ever see me around.

      So, we now have a straight and clean boot lid inbound and the car goes in for paint, again, on Wednesday, and will be ready on Friday, all ready to get cams and stuff on Monday  And by straight and clean.....I mean a brand new OEM one that cost..... $1300....😪 Sadly there's no clean undamaged used soft top version available, plenty for the power retractable hard top versions though, which is arse and makes Mark have the sads I could have waited longer, until a NC sort top boot lid eventually turned up, but I'm sick of waiting and said fark it and made it rain cash, meh In other naturally aspirated news, one of the guys at work brought in his old Corola which had a 4AGE in it, really nice clean car with lots of mods, including ITB's, man that things induction noise sounds sick with all of the dorts that makes you smile......maybe the NC needs ITB's, yeah, basically for the noise they make, but they're pretty expensive, but, they sound so damn good I may bring this up when I drop the car up on Monday, and by may, I mean I will🤣🤑🤪🤣
