New Brakes

Hey all..

Wandering if yo can help me out. Im looking at upgrading my brakes all together to something like brembos off a GT-R or something similar..

Just a few questions one being will the stock GTS-T rims clear GTR brakes?

How much are we looking at for these brakes (in great condition) on all 4 installed?

Please leave any imput you have, i have done a bit of research on brakes and brembo's off a GTR look to be the most conservative safest approach. So if there are brakes which are similar or better please let me know..

I have R33 GTR brakes front and rear on my R33 GTST and it works well, just remember to upgrade your master cyl to a 300ZX one or a R33 GTR one. Not sure about the std wheels clearing them? You will just have to up grade to GTR wheels.

not sure how much this upgrade will cost you

but in the group buy section look into RDA slotted dimpled rotors and EBC pads. seem to have done many a GTS-T owner justice on the streets and for track work braid the lines for better feel.

Im happy with the similar set up DrewII has said, Ive got QFM pads though however I run 16inch rims.

If I were to upgrade to GTR brakes...I'll need bigger rims! doh

My DBA rotors w/ Ultimate pads are well worth the $$$. Havent had it on the track but thru Nasho to the Gong, at stupid o/clock, brakes stay sweet.

Also remember if you do track days, tyres come into play with your brakes...you can have a good brake upgrade...but shitty tyres, and you wont be stopping any quicker.
