get your shocks/suspension looked at because if at stock height it is dropping and hitting your control arms somethings wrong.

did you get new wheels are they right off set?

i think i am screwed, the offset is 38et on speedy wheels inferno black

http://www.speedywheels.com.au/images/zoom/inferno-black.htm

Am i right?

yeah 18's and +38 is probably a little too high for stock springs and shocks

you might want to consider buying some stiffer ones

Something like tein s-tech coils springs?

or the Tein Super Street kit?

Coilovers?

TEIN Basic Dampers?

Other brands, lower profile tyres?

Thanks for you help

IMO there is only one rule to buying rims.... offset offset offset.

+1 - the right way is to get the right rims

Changing the spring stiffness just means it wont hit as often, ie you have to hit a bigger pothole/dip whatever to make it touch. Its not a fix.

Its illegal, with good reason, to have the rim/tyre touch any part of the car, other than the mounting of course. You might be able to do something with spacers but i don't know if they're legal.
