the best way to check if its working is at night park infront of a wall with a few meters gap and adjust the height.. u will notice if it moves up and down buy the top of the beam moving. if its not working it may have been disconected during compliance. the plug is at the rear of the light and mine got filled with silicone

also could be you are not using the correct bulb for which the lens is designed. If the bulb length is longer or shorter than the original, specifically where the element is situated, such as in aftermarket kits, the beam will be greatly affected...which is one of the reasons why they are illegal.

stupid question but - you do see the 2 or 3 adjustment screws that do the x and y axis adjustments?

they are ally coloured and have a small ish hex head and also a phillips head on them

that will / should allow more left right up down adjustments

sorry if you already knew that .. but hey at least I am methodical :)

thanx heaps ssshonky, ill give it a sus. yep it has xenons stock but they were comoletly removed at compliance. the bulb housings are the same (h1) but im not 100 sure if there like different wattage or anything. where do i get these d2r bulbs?..

if your ballasts are still there its easy enough to reconnect everything...but that's prob not what you want to hear at the moment.

Yours will have a D2R->H1 conversion plate in the housing, prob siliconed in. Dont know how compatable the D2Rs would be with your kit, connectors etc, voltages are usually pretty standard. I picked up my D2R bulbs (philips) and harnesses on ebay.

Keep playing with the adjusting screws on the back of the lights, shine the lights on a wall and observe, one is vert and one horiz.
