SAFC Tune

Hi all.....

I've got a Apexi SAFC (Blue Screen model)......when i'm running normal boost the car performs fine but as soon as I up the boost the car starts pinging......

Now I assume that I can adjust the SAFC to correct the pinging but I'm unsure how to do this....Do I change the HI or LOW settings???? and what do the settings mean...if a rev point is set to -12 for example and I change it to -10 is this leaning the mixture or making it more rich???

I've tried reading the SAFC manual but it didn't give me any help and of course i'll get the car tuned properly in a few weeks but would appreciate any help..

If it says -12% then its reducing the fuel at the given point by -12%. If you make adjust it too -10%, then you are riching it up. Exactly what you need if you are pinging or otherwise reduce timing.

Should be done on a dyno though.
