... having strangers at traffic lights roll down their windows to talk tell you how hot your car is.

It's also parking your car, going for a walk, and seeing some people you know perving on your car without knowing it's yours :P.

Who else has had some moments like this which have totally justified your purchase (and made you realise just how good you look)?

having all sorts of people, young and old, admire the car.

people thinking your rich for driving one [ahahahaha]

people trying to race me off the lights, and i just cruise normally.....

not satisfaction... but a pet hate.... people keeping up with you, staying in the lane next to you, driving behind you, following you on the road to perve at the car....

is....

1. Having a lifetime Holden fan admit that your car is better than his :bunny:

2. Listening and feeling the mechanical symphony every time you press your right foot to the floor.

3. Being pulled over by a cop to ask what car is that? And chatting to him for 15 minutes without fear of getting a defect.

I remember the car being admired at, more by males and some females. Remember being asked about it at the petrol station and at traffic lights. These days only get a few glances. It seems they are plenty on the road and people got used to them...

    • Hey guys, Just thought it might be of interest to owners of the RB25 det NEO motor, that awesomeness Nitto are in the late process to produce an engine gasket kit by end of Jan 25.  I think obviously there will be an 25det kit too. cheers, Ian

    • Shortly after I do the usual full exhaust/ fmic/fuel pump/ R33 turbo and still get flogged at the lights by i30Ns
    • Is Chris from Craved Coatings still around? He is an ex SAU guy and did great powder coating (back in the day at least)
    • Bumping this thread yet again, has anyone ever tried putting yet another vacuum regulating valve on the hose that goes between the turbo inlet? Something local owners have mentioned is the Radium breather pipes de-restrict the valve cover but it actually produces an undesirable outcome in practice, way too much air is sucked out of the crankcase and a ton of oil comes with it as well. As far as I can tell the PCV diaphragm in these modern euro wet sump performance engines is active during boost as well, there's just a check valve to block boost from entering the valve cover and crankcase as there's no inherent check valve function in these diaphragm-type valves. Hopefully I'll be able to try some of this out soon. The Volvo XC90 4.4 V8 has a nice external version of these things.
