How Good Are These Results

Hi Everyone

A friend had a compression test on his R33 (97) 90000KM and he got the following results

1. 150

2. 150

3. 155

4. 150

5. 150

6. 150

Are these looking good for this age of car?

afaik thats about where it should be. better cos its very similar b/n cylinders

Did you find it hard doing the compression test since you have to remove so many parts to get to the cylinders?

What method did you use to disable the EFI?

Dont know mate - he had it done at a performance workshop

thats very good compression. as long as they are even across all cylinders (as those results are) the motor is healthy.

yeah buddy all good there, they are supposed to be between ~135 to ~175 with no more difference then 10 psi so your fine there

There aren't that many parts. You can pull the fuel pump blade fuse from the row in the boot to disable the pump if you like but I've never bothered.

Or just disconect the CAS while your already in the engine bay
