Jules,

I do have approval in WA for compliance of the M35 Stagea (to date the only workshop), their is a couple on the water and at least one will be available but either way my email address is [email protected] or call 08 9493 7571 link with company info from DOTARS site.

Nigel.

And thanks for that Kylie.

Damn I wish I knew about you a couple of months ago!!! haha I've not long ago received my M35 AR-X Four that I imported through J-Spec and they had told me I had to compliance in Brisbane as we had no compliancing here :P

Good to hear someone in WA is finally compliancing them. Good luck with finding an M35 for your mate Jules

Brendan,

You might of bought it before my approval but I have had it since August on the M35 and their has been workshops in NSW and VIC approved for the last 12 to 18 months.

On parts I have an M35 in Japan that is being cut up but that one is more for customers cars I comply, I will more then likely have another for parts, VQ25DET half cuts as well.

We have full exhaust systems we are working on for the M35 and they will be turbo back, copy of a high end Japanese one.

If you have any questions though you are more then welcome to drop an email, I work in the Maddington and Welshpool area.

Nigel.

Nigel,

Ah that would be the reason then, yeah I bought the car in about June I think? So had to get all the compliancing teed up then. Great to hear about the parts and things, I could be interested in a turbo back exhaust, I hear they liberate quite a bit of power? I'll definitely give you an email in the near future, I just work in Kewdale so thats pretty sweet, and live in Roleystone so nearby all round!

Thanks for the info mate,

Brendan

    • Hi all. So one of my major issues at the moment is my rear turbo leaking oil on the exhaust (and the general area). I presumed it was the rock hard super old drain hose, which it was not. So now I am in the midst of removing the rear turbo to get access to the banjo bolt that goes into the turbo oil feed. As one of the previous owners accidentally? tore off the OEM oil feed hardline that reaches behind the turbo, they ran braided lines directly to the turbo, presumably PTFE. Now, regardless if the line has rubber or teflon inside, is it just generally a bad idea to do this? I imagine these lines get quite hot being between the engine, turbo core and exhaust manifold. I suppose it's not too far fetched to think the line may even have melted. I'd love to hear your opinions on this as as the replacement OEM hardline piece is 130 per unit. And cutting open the currently mounted line to see inside will mean I just have to get a replacement either way. So far I am hoping maybe the bolt just loosened or (god forbid) they forgot one of the crush washers.
    • If it's a factory 20de manual probably has the 6 bolt flywheel in which case the det clutches won't work as they're 9 bolt.
    • All RB push clutches are interchangeable. AFAIK, the 4cyl ones are not. Different flywheels. The RB small box is not identical to the 4cyl boxes. Just very similar.
    • Hi. I need a new clutch for my gearbox. It is a factory smallbox behind RB20DE NEO. What options do i have? If iam not mistaken the gearbox should be the same as in R32 GTST and Nissan S14/S15? I found some Xtreme Clutch Stage 1 for S14/S14 (i dont know if you know the brand) (UK) OR...is the clutch same as in the bigbox from RB25DET?   Thank you!
