Food- La Rustica, Kingston

Out- All Bar, Durham Kingston, Uni Pub, Mawson Club seem to be the places I've been to most recently

Chill out- around lake tuggers with Molly

Drives- love the "roller coaster" when you leave batemans bay going towards mogo on the highway

Shopping- DFO's gotta be up there now it's open, but before that Canberra Centre is the best for chicks clothes

Car wash- Tuggys car lovers at midnight when no one's there... I refuse to queue!

I can't believe in all the time I've lived here I have NEVER been to the pancake parlour lol :/

clubbing... Lot 33

eating... Yum Yum Tree in civic, or eldorado's in dickson when i'm after a massive steak.

car wash... Waves at gunners when i can be bothered.

i tend to do alot of late night driving, go for a run around canberra, normally follow the main roads from belco to civic, then civic to queanbo, then to tuggers, woden, back home to belco.

not to give the car a hit, just because i find driving at night relaxes me :/ and you see some werid people out on the road at 2am.

hahaha, very understandable comments about moose, Im not really a fan of the club scene in canberra, but thats the haunt of a lot of my friends, they got into the habit of moose and shooters nights, ill be looking to check out the recommendations,

does anyone know some good fishin spots,????

Right here in SAU, drop some bait on a line and you will catch Bullet32's all day. Not good eating, but they put up a good fight.

PS: recommended baits - cutting polish/wax, tyres and frangipanis for starters, but try a variety cos they're bound to work

Food- Jimmy's Place

Movies- Dendy's cause you can usually get a cinima to yourself during the 9:30 sessions during the week.

Chillout- Coolroom at work...especially during summernats and summer.

Drive- Flemmington..I love tailgaters!!

Best Food Van- 0.o

Shopping- The Hub, so much cool stuff!!

Clubbing- Rock climbing centre every month or so, but no one tells me about it so I always miss it ><

Best car wash: Heavy rain while parked under gum tree (free protecter coat!!) Aquarius carwash or waves (lives up the road from it)

Worse car wash: Waves, cause as soon as you leave Gungahlin you get a nice dust coat from Flemmington, even worse if you live in Gungahlin.

Tailgate strip: Flemmington, the only road you are certain you will be tailgated in whether it's rain, hail or shine.

Fishing spot: Mooseheads or Shooters you even dont have to use bait half the time.

Worse maintained road- Flemmington

I admit that some days I'm a tailgating bitch but FFS do the fricking speed limit or give me a second lane so I can over take!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's some nice big potholes in there at the moment too.

what is so bad about Flemmington road, besides the stupid amounts of traffic and the completely useless bus lane?

It isnt the part of Flemmington between EPIC and the car wash place, its the dust bowl of a pot-hole riddled road after it. Due to the road work you never know whether its 60 or 80 and you either get 3 or 4 cars going 60 in the 80 zone or 1 car trying to do 100, riding your arse, driving in the bicycle lane and then overtaking you when you hit the 60 zone in an unbroken line area.... ><

      1. Factory knock sensors for now, honestly the RB26 OEM knock sensors seem ok as they're flat response instead of resonant type but they appear to be internally grounded to the block. If I do replace the sensor it would just be to get ones that are not internally grounded so a differential input can be used to reject common mode noise. Definitely plan on fixing this as a part of the tuning process. 2. Never deliberately induced knock, though I guess I could try that experiment if I really wanted to. 3. All of this is basically on a stock engine + ECU, only modification is HKS GTIII-SS turbos and a Nismo plenum. Currently I run it with the wastegate solenoid unplugged so it won't try to raise boost past wastegate pressure.

      No detail on compressor or turbine sizes, which doesn't help with housing size selection with that kit. However, from SR20DET mucking about and money torching perspective, a GTX2860R Gen 2 w/ 0.64 (46mm inducer) will do ~260kW on E85 about 1.5bar of boost. All in before 3000pm, which cause a gearbox to shatter. Now imagine the same turbo, on a modern motor with an extra 0.5L of displacement, and heaps of cam timing adjustability (not an on/off affair like the Nissan shit boxes). If this was my car (which I would never own or consider buying, ever!), I would go for a nice twin scroll setup, and a G30-660. Gates plumbed back, no silly shit. Lean on the cam timing, big displacement to create a flat-ish torque curve.
