Car Makes A Rattle Sound When Accelerating To 40ks! Help

im having a similar noise when i blip the throttle at idle or if i start accelerating when im driving. rattle sound, not sure what it is?

ive got the same prob on my r33 at about 3-4k revs i get a rattle comming from the back. def not the gear box tho

Could be a worn out gearbox mount guys or a worn center bearing for the tail shaft. Check it out.

Have you used a rubber mallet yet?

Does the rattle occur more on a sharp turn?

Can you get a wooden 20-30cm dowel with one end in your ear and the other end on separate parts of the undercarriage whilst the car's idling?

Get same noise on cold winter days when accelerating. Goes away after 5mins. Must be gear box but could also be turbo. Don't think so as i could still get the sound at low RPM. Only just hearing this rattle this year (150k). Can't hear it know.

I have the same problem as steve12... when acelerating or gear braking when cold... after 5 mins gone.
