Ive got one welsh plug in but the other just wont go in there at all. any suggestions?

also what positions do all the springs go in? which ones do a still use etc?

would love to get this back in tonight, but its becoming a real pain.

thanks

ok so its all in and it goes.

no overdrive though

it wont shift into 4th

if i sit at 60/ 70kmh and turn O/D on nothing happens, let the foot off the gas to see if it will change and it just drops down to neutral

done the auto diag check and everything is fine.

will be giving mike a call tomorrow to see whats up.

but feel free to add some input in here tonight!

So what happened with this?

"after some reading apparently you only need to use 1?"

I used two springs in mine and it went ino fourth, what did mike say?

Also can you send me the link to the diagnostic thread.

I rang mike, from what i could understand you block off the 2 middle accumulators with the 2 welsh plugs.

and the empty one at the back (towards back of car) gets the spring in it.

with mine the big servo at the rear of the valvebody also came down when it didnt need to.

I ended up taking it to Bob Grant Autos here in brisbane.

they took it apart and put it back together again.

i asked what was the problem and they simply said "it wasnt assembled correctly"

No idea what part wasnt assembled properly but my guess is it was that servo no going in back correctly.

as mike mentioned that may be the problem.

but i now have 4th again so i dont care haha :/
