Someone over at PriusChat dropped images of what appears to be the next generation Prius or at least a really fantastic photochop of what the new Prius mule looks like.

lolwut is that like an equivalent of SAU but with Toyota Prius? >_<

a VW golf deisel produces less carbon dioxoide than the so called "green prius" in city driving and highway driving...

Prius = Fail

and the people who buy then = fail for getting sucked into the hype and not doing thier research properly

think about it your going to buy the prius for its economy and environment benefits, not its looks or performance..... and it doesnt even do that properly

My GF leases one through work and Prius is a great car. We easily get 1000 KMs to a full tank. It drinks next to nothing in local streets and has fairly good go if you push it. The petrol kicks in when you want it to (rev high).

The looks of the car grow on you... it looked average to me but now that has changed and I dont mind it at all.

Speaking of looks, Id never be caught driving a Nissan Micra... now that is ugly.

I drive prius's (or is it Priui?) as we have a couple at the office and if I need to head out I take one of those. they are ok. very quiet and about the same as any other pezzy little econo-box. and the gadgety display is fun and trying to keep it to electric power in the city is fun too. but come on, fairly good go? I'm sorry mate but they are as slow as a wet week. our clapped out 15 year old daihatsu applause 1.5l manual goes harder than a brand new prius and believe me that is not very hard. not too sure on this high rev thing either? they sounds like they'll self destruct over about 5,000rpm. my FD RX7, yes high revs goes good. 34 GTR, yes high revs goes good. prius? no. 8,000+ is high revs. 4,500 and ka-blammo is not high revs!

if you care about fuel economy sure they are ok at that. but don't have any illusion about them being fun or sporty to drive. they are rubbish to drive and slow. and if I really wanted an eco weener machine I'd got for a grey import honda insight. :D

    • Damn, as someone who just glued the damn things in (very slightly askew but better) I wish I saw this, or someone made this. Would be worth linking this to Boosted International. They're always looking for product ideas and this is something they would likely make.
    • You know what, I'll double or nothing. Save your money, buy a V8 Manual Mustang in 2 years and have a more fun street car with better support and all that. I often tell people "if I could do it all again, I wouldn't". Sell your R34 GTT to someone, spend the 20k in difference between that and a 2018 Gen2 V8 Manual Mustang. I'll bet you will have the $ in your pocket by the time you spend the ~20K differential on mods and get them installed. Just planting this seed for future regrets. Blah blah, wisdom of people who would do it differently who are at the end of the road you are just starting on, etc. Car modding is often death by a thousand cuts as you wait to afford the next big mod. Imagine a 2 door Skyline with a 330KW N/A V8 Revving to 7500rpm like the RB25, with 315's all round.
    • Yes I'm going through a similar thing with my R33 with rust in seams due to dried out seam sealer cracking. After much research I settled on Penetrol. Read what it does and its done a bloody fantastic job for me. Pressure pack comes with a thin tube to get into hard to reach places.
