Hey i'm trying to get the front of my gtr off the ground and struggling, (i think it's standard or just lower than standard ride height) our ramps are too steep and i cant fit our floor jack under the front so i'm looking for a place to jack it off the side.. theres a bit of a space on the sill but part of the plastic from the standard sideskirts overlaps onto the area.. i can't see anywhere else i can fit it, the jack won't reach under far enough to reach the arms or anything

Also i'm trying to remove my front lip and theres these bolts across the front (3) that are horizontal, when i try to losen them they spin around with the bolt and some plastic part (plastic grub or something) inside the lip spins around.. any ideas?

About the jacking points (I have the same car). Assuming that you have one of those floor jack (not the stock scissor jack), you can try driving your car onto some bricks, then you should able to reach the jack under the front cross member. It works for my car, which is slightly lowered (about 15mm at the front) with nismo struts.

With the lip, I think you might need to take off whole front bar before you can take it off, but don't quote me on that thou. From memory, they are held together with a nut on the other side, so I think thats why it spins around when you loosen'd it.

I do what Phase said, I use wooden blocks to get the jack under then lift it high enough to get the ramps under it. My trolley jack won't go under the car.

On a 33 there is a jack location just behind each front wheel and in front of the door sill, but you need a 'U' shaped grooved block use it. You need to pack out each side of the seam, a couple of bits of metal or wood do the trick.

even with a low car/front lip you can often get a floor jack under the front tow hook/loop. its a nice strong point.

from the side, the easiest place is the gearbox cross member where it bolts to the chassis rail
